The wild yam, Dioscorea villosa, or wild yam, is a plant native to North and Central America. The root, rich in diosgenin, was traditionally used by the Aztecs and Mayans to regulate the hormonal cycle.
Today, the root is used to maintain a calm and comfortable menopause and help women cope with the telltale signs associated with menopause such as hot flashes, sweating, nervousness, and irritability.
Maca, Lepidium meyenii, is a perennial plant that grows in Peru on the high plateaus of the Andes mountain range, between 3800 and 4800 meters above sea level, in the Puno region. In several areas of Puno, maca has always been of great interest in various applications.
Ingredients:
Maca powder* (Lepidium meyenii), extract of yam rhizomes* (Dioscorea opposita) titrated to 16% in diosgenin, tunic: gelling agent pullulan, anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids.
