Cape aloe, Aloe ferox, also known as black aloe, is a common South African perennial plant in the Alliaceae family. This plant gets its name "ferox," meaning fierce, from the presence of numerous thorns on its leaves.
From ancient Mesopotamia (1750 BC) to Greece at the beginning of the Christian era, through Egypt of the pharaohs, the beneficial properties of aloe were known.
From the leaves, a bitter liquid is extracted which, once dried, is called sap (or latex). Aloe sap, rich in anthraquinones, is known to support digestion and promote intestinal transit.
Directions for use:
1 capsule per day in the evening at bedtime.
