WHAT DOES CamomillA BLU DEODORANT CONTAIN?
Sweat is the product of the secretion of sweat glands located on the surface of the skin.
Sweat, immediately after its emission, does not have an unpleasant odor, which is rather caused by its decomposition by the bacterial flora normally found on the skin.
Triethyl citrate
It inhibits the action of the bacterial flora: the bacteria attack triethyl citrate instead of sweat and hydrolyze it to form ethyl alcohol (which has a bacteriostatic action) and citric acid (by decreasing the pH of the treated area, prevents the formation of short-chain fatty acids with a typical pungent odor). It is characterized by a long duration of action because its chemical structure allows the release of 3 citric acid molecules, maintaining a low pH for a long time (normally it would tend to summarize the physiological values in a short time).
Zinc lactate
It does not affect perspiration and does not alter existing bacterial flora. It reduces unpleasant odors thanks to its chelating action on malodorous chemical compounds, which are thus deactivated, promoting a prolonged anti-odor effect.
Rock alum
Rock alum is a naturally occurring salt extracted from the mineral alunite (rock alum).
- Surface astringent effect: reduces the size of sweat pores and therefore the release of sweat, without blocking perspiration.
- Antimicrobial effect: natural antimicrobial that inhibits bacterial growth.
- Regulation of skin pH: Bacteria growth is favored by a high pH. Rock alum lowers the pH to create an environment where bacteria cannot grow.
