Mgd Nature Turmeric
Native to South Asia, turmeric, Curcuma longa, is a perennial rhizomatous herbaceous plant of the Zingiberaceae family.
The traditional use of turmeric root dates back several millennia. It is particularly present in the sociocultural life of the Indian subcontinent where it is even considered a sacred ingredient used in many spiritual and religious rites.
The beneficial effects of turmeric are linked to its composition of phenolic compounds, curcuminoids, the main one of which is curcumin.
Turmeric is therefore a valuable aid in promoting digestive comfort and supporting liver function, but also in improving general health by acting on several levels: it helps maintain joint and bone health, it strengthens natural defenses, it protects cells from oxidative stress.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa) rhizome*, tunic: gelling agent hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC).
