Description
CLA or conjugated linoleic acid is a fatty acid derived from linoleic acid (LA) from the omega 6 series is obtained from vegetable oils such as sunflower or safflower oil and animal sources such as dairy and ruminant meat. Solgar's Tonalin CLA comes from natural safflower oil seeds.
ACC activity focuses on stimulating energy metabolism and therefore reducing body fat. CLA can help as part of a low-calorie diet, reduce body fat and build lean muscle mass (which in turn helps reduce body fat).
Solgar Tonalin CLA is protected by four patents and has been clinically studied in human trials, while many CLAs on the market have not been through human clinical trials. The CLA contribution per capsule is a dose of 1014 mg, which has shown efficacy in clinical trials and is in the form of two different cis isomers: 9, trans 11 and trans 10, cis 12, essential for the balance and action of CLA. It also contains other fatty acids found in safflower oil, which are beneficial for the body.
