Directions for use
The choice of nipple flow rate depends on the baby's age and sucking power, parameters that can vary from one baby to another. Ages are given as a guide.
If infant formula is mixed with infant cereal or soup, it may be helpful to switch to a higher flow rate. There are also specific flow rates: Dodie's special thickened liquid flow rate.
Directions for use and precautions for use
– Before first use, boil the Dodie bottle, teat and accessories for 5 minutes.
– All parts are dishwasher safe (top rack).
– Before each use, clean the bottle and teat. Inspect the teat and discard it at the first sign of deterioration or weakness. Do not expose the teat to direct sunlight or heat.
– It is recommended to replace the pacifier at least every 6 weeks for hygiene and safety reasons.
Instructions for sterilization
– For cold sterilization, follow the instructions for use carefully. Be careful not to leave the teat in the sterilizing solution longer than indicated and drain the bottle and teat well before preparing the bottle.
– For hot sterilization (steam or microwave), carefully follow the instructions for the device used.
– Before cleaning or heat sterilizing, completely disassemble the bottle.
– Wait until the parts have cooled down completely before reassembling the bottle because, when the ring is hot, it can be difficult to screw onto the bottle.
Heating Instructions (Do Not Overheat)
– If you heat the Dodie bottle, especially in the microwave, place the bottle upright, open and filled.
– Be extra careful when heating in a microwave. It can cause localized temperatures to be excessively high. Always stir the food after heating and check the temperature before feeding.
For the safety and health of your child: Warning!
– Continuous and prolonged feeding of liquids can lead to the appearance of dental caries.
– Always check the temperature of the food before bottle feeding.
– Discard at the slightest sign of deterioration or fragility.
– Keep all unused items out of reach of children.
– Never tie to cords, ribbons, laces, or loose clothing. Your child could strangle themselves.
– Never use a bottle teat as a pacifier.
– This product must always be used under adult supervision.
